- Individuals from every nation are eligible to apply for the KAUST Scholarship Program 2025. To be considered for a master’s program, applicants must possess a completed bachelor’s degree. Those seeking admission to doctoral programs are required to hold a master’s degree.
- A strong academic record is essential for applicants. Candidates must be both mentally and physically capable. Chosen applicants are expected to demonstrate good behavior and excel academically.
Application procedure For KAUST Scholarship Program 2025 KSA:
- All applicants must provide a complete and official university transcript, mark sheet, graduation certificate, or academic record from each institution they have attended. A scanned copy of the official transcript in its original language must be uploaded along with a certified English translation in the online application. Your transcript should include the grading scale of the university for all documents submitted. If you are offered admission, you must send an official final transcript to the Office of Admissions before your arrival, provided in a sealed envelope during the onboarding process.
- You should also submit a CV summarizing your employment history, research experience, and any other pertinent information as part of your application. If you have published works, please include their abstracts in your resume.
- Please provide a statement of purpose of about 750 words detailing your previous work, preparation for your chosen field of study, relevant interests and background, academic objectives, and career goals. Explain your reasons for applying to the specific KAUST program you are pursuing.
- You need to have three letters of recommendation submitted on your behalf. These letters are crucial and should be written by professors or advisors who are familiar with your research or coursework in your major field. Recommendations should be submitted through the application directly by the recommenders. They should include information on how they know your work, as well as comparative assessments (e.g., top 1% of class, best in the past five years, etc.), and insights into your research capabilities.
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum score of 6.5 is required, with no individual section lower than 5.5.
- An overall score of 79 is needed, with at least 17 in each individual section; the KAUST Admissions code is 4107.
- An overall score of 62, with a minimum of 59 in every section, is required.
- Advanced (CAE): A total score of 176 is needed, with no individual score below 169.
- An English language score is unnecessary if the applicant has obtained a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
- GRE (Graduate Record Examination): Although KAUST does not require the GRE for admission, you may submit your scores if you have taken the exam. Official test scores can be sent to KAUST Admissions using the GRE Code 4139.
