- Academics will be exempt from the 15,000 yen fee for the entrance exam, the 300,000 yen enrollment fee, and the annual tuition fee of 535,800 yen for three years.
- They will also receive a stipend of 150,000 yen each month for three years to support their living expenses.

KUT Special Scholarship Program Japan 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants are required to receive approval from their selected project supervisor as listed on the SSP Research Project List.
- They must possess a Master’s degree or its equivalent, or have completed 18 years of education by the time they enroll.
- Applicants should be 35 years old or younger at the time of enrollment.
They must have a strong academic performance in both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Candidates are required to have obtained their bachelor’s and master’s degrees from recognized universities. - They must have sufficient research knowledge and skills to make valuable contributions to the project.
- Applicants should demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English.
Application Procedure For KUT Special Scholarship Program Japan 2026:
- Prospective candidates must complete and submit the online pre-application request form.
- Application forms will be evaluated by selected supervisors who will determine if the applicant fulfills their criteria. Applicants may choose up to two supervisors from the SSP supervisor list.
- After assessing the applications, chosen supervisors will reach out to successful candidates and permit them to formally apply for the SSP program. Complete and send the formal application form along with all necessary documents to KUT via postal mail. (Please refrain from sending them through email.)
